Motherhood isn’t meant to be this exhausting!

I get it. You are working so hard. You’ve read all the parenting books and articles. You’re trying so hard to be a conscious parent.

You wake up optimistic.

But then…

🤦🏼‍♀️ the irrational demands begin

🤦🏼‍♀️ the whining and clinging

🤦🏼‍♀️ the refusal to cooperate with ANYTHING (eating breakfast, getting dressed, brushing their teeth…)

🤦🏼‍♀️ tears and tantrums at the ‘drop of a hat’

🤦🏼‍♀️ your simple requests turn into long, drawn out battles or negotiations

🤦🏼‍♀️ redirecting, distracting, reasoning with a never ending stream of undesirable behaviour

You feel like you have to give in to irrational demands just to keep the peace or walk on eggshells to avoid yet another tantrum!

I’m willing to bet that if youre experiencing these types of behavoiur issues during the day you’re sleep is being effected at night too.

So let’s add some sleep deprivation into the mix.

It’s only breakfast time, you’re already exhausted, losing your patience and feeling like you’re losing the battle. How are you going to get through another day!?

The good news? There’s a simple solution to this issue. It’s one that I’ve seen turn things around for many mothers time and time again.

This is my foundation program including all the basics that you need so that you can understand how emotions are effecting your child’s behaviour and how you can help to shift those to bring more peace and harmony into your home and stop feeling so exhausted!

Hi! I’m Belinda, I remember back when my son was around 12 months old and I felt like I had to keep doing more and giving more to meet his ever increasing needs. He was becoming more clingy, demanding, wanting to be picked up all the time, wanting to breastfeed all the time, he wasn’t sleeping well, so I wasn’t sleeping well. It was exhausting!

As an early childhood teacher I had a tonne of knowledge about children’s development and behaviour but I had zero understanding about the way emotions actually effect behaviour and how to solve the underlying cause rather than keep applying bandaid solutions.

These are the 2 pillars that I used to step out of that cycle:

  1. Getting comfortable with all of my son’s emotions
  2. Getting comfortable with all of my emotions

ln this program I’ll be walking you through a very simple, repeatable and tangible system to help you implement these 2 pillars to make conscious parenting easy. #paradigmshift

You can use this over and over and over again on a daily basis to build a loving and trusting relationship your child and handle any new behavioural challenge or transition that life throws at you (eg new sibling or moving house).

This deep level of support is your golden key to success. Of course you can go and read all the parenting books you like, the hard part is taking that knowledge and implementing it into your everyday life with your children who might not behave or respond in the way the book suggests… now what?

I’m here to share the information AND to walk you through the process of implementation, creating change and the challenges that invariably come along with that.

What is the cost of waiting it out?

I hear this time and time again, parents trying to wait out the challenging behaviours: the tears, tantrums, irrational demands etc

In the mean time, your emotional and mental wellbeing suffers and your child bears the brunt of that in terms of your patience levels, frustration levels, exhaustion levels and the way you react when you’re feeling that way. And this is going to impact the relationship you have with them later down the track.

Its going to be putting stress your relationship with your husband and others close to you. and impacting the peace, harmony and family dynamics in your home.

And the most important part – you can’t wait out challenging behaviours caused by underlying emotions. If you don’t deal with the underlying emotional issue these behaviours you’re experiencing now will just transform into more ‘age appropriate’ behaviours as your child grows older. Think things like aggression, anxiety, sleep issues, addictions to screens, sugar and more.

Love from other mums:

“I signed up to work with Belinda as I was finding myself completely exhausted from giving in to every little demand as I just didn’t know how to say ‘no’ to my kids without the guilt setting in. Belinda quickly gave me the confidence to set limits in a way my children quickly accepted. This new skill has helped me feel more confident and happy as a mother and I am enjoying my kids so much more and seeing them for the beautiful gifts they are rather than feeling tired and agitated by them.”

Lauren (mother of two)

“I was finding it really hard to enjoy my parenting journey through all the conflicts, tantrums and defiance of my toddler. Since working with Belinda and digging deep things have really begun to turn around for us. It’s definitely not all roses!! It has allowed me to regain my confidence as a mother and we are making some great progress as a family!’
